Hummus (houmous, humus) is one of my favourite go to healthy foods! It can be used with almost anything; raw vegetables, in a salad, as a snack and it is soooo yummy!!
It is also very versatile. You can add an avocado or even beets to make it more fun and to mix it up a little.
This is the easiest hummus recipe around. You just throw all ingredients into a food processor and mix – et voilà!
Have fun with it.

Life is not always perfect, so don’t sweat it if you don’t always have time to make it yourself. I know, I don’t always have time. The recipe may be easy, but it does require many ingredients and a lot of cleaning afterwards. In those cases, instead of not eating it, I will get the store bought one. Just make sure you look at the label to check how close it is to the real thing. I usually go with the one from Delhaize that is stored in the fridge near the olives and salads.
