Hi lovely,
It’s CHRISTMAS!
What does this holiday mean to you?
- Is it spending time with loved ones?
- It is about getting presents?
- Is it about the huge amounts of food?
- Something else?
For me, it’s about being with my family and passing all the Christmas traditions on to my children. In Denmark, Christmas is a very big deal and we have many many traditions! My baby-daddy is getting confused with all the different things we do, but he is starting to love them too!
This year unfortunately is a little different for me. Yesterday I buried a dear friend. I have known her my whole life and now I have to get used to a world, that she is no longer a part of. It is terribly hard. Especially hard to see her two small boys, who now have to grow up without their mother. My heart aches for them.
My wish for you, is that you find yourself surrounded by loved ones and that you stay kind to yourself. Try not to overindulge in the enormous amounts of food usually ingested this time of year, even if it can be really difficult at times. Remember that Christmas also comes around (for most people) next year, so you don’t have to eat as if you will never eat again! Try to be grateful of all the things you have and send out loving thoughts to the people who may not have as much.
I wish you a VERY HAPPY CHRISTMAS and a HEALTHY New Year. May all your dreams come true.
